Explore the 'unmissable' Kensington Palace

Built in the early 1600s, Kensington Palace is an attraction steeped in history and a popular destination for visitors to London.
Recently described by Travel Connect as a "glamorous" and "alluring" place, the former home of Diana Princess of Wales is a must-visit attraction for London Pass holders.
Those visiting Kensington Palace will have the opportunity to explore areas of the building, including the Kings Gallery - which has been immaculately preserved for almost 300 years - and Queen Victoria's former bedroom.
Other highlights of the palace include the famous sunken garden – planted in 1908 – and the Royal Ceremonial Dress Collection, which not only features gowns worn by the late Princess Diana, but also includes Queen Victoria's wedding dress, Princess Margaret's fancy-dress turban and King William III's socks.
Kensington Palace was first occupied by royalty in 1689, when King William III and Mary II purchased the home in order to "escape the grime of Whitehall".
