This is a great way to see some of London's most famous sights as you and your fellow Sherlock fans join forces to solve a murder mystery.
It’s 1968 and you’ve just received a mysterious envelope. Inside are all the clues you’ll need to discover the person or persons responsible for the heinous murder of a young woman at Duck Island Cottage in St James’s Park.
Your investigation will take you to major attractions including Buckingham Palace, The Mall and Horse Guards Parade. Then its on to Parliament Square, where you’ll see grand, gothic Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, as well as several imposing statues of world leaders including Churchill, Lincoln and Mandela.
Weave your way along Whitehall, past Number 10 Downing Street – the British Prime Minister’s official London residence – and onwards to Great Scotland Yard, where you must solve the crime and reveal the killer.
This is a private, self-guided tour for you and your friends, so you’re free to go as quickly or as slowly as you like. We recommend making a whole morning or afternoon of it, taking time in the beautiful surroundings of St James’ Park and its exquisite lake that's home to pelicans and other delightful wildlife.

Parliament Square - overlooked by the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, this vast green square at the bottom of Whitehall is home to several statues of world leaders including Abraham Lincoln and Nelson Mandela
Whitehall - your trail of clues takes you past the Prime Minister’s official London residence, the moving Cenotaph war memorial and the mounted cavalry officer at the entrance to Horse Guards
Know before you go
Getting in: show your pass at the pick-up point (SNACK STOP, 11A Charing Cross Road). You’ll be given your mystery and can then make the short walk to the starting point in Trafalgar Square.

- All participants' passes must be scanned.
- All mysteries are for a minimum of two and a maximum of four people.
- Only one mystery per group.
