Superhero Fun in Marvel Universe 4D

For every kid who’s ever fantasized about joining the Avengers, the Marvel Universe 4D experience launches those dreams into overdrive. Step inside a high-tech theatre where the action leaps from the screen: Spider-Man’s leaps, Hulk’s thunderous roars, and Iron Man's tech wizardry surround you in a multisensory adventure. The 4D effects are a full-on thrill—think seats that rumble, bursts of wind, and special touches that make you feel like you’re right in the heart of a superhero battle.

Before and after the movie, the Marvel Hall lets kids snap selfies with jaw-droppingly realistic figures of Spider-Man, Captain Marvel, Black Panther, and more. Each set is made for play—climb alongside Spider-Man or get caught in Hulk’s mighty grip. The zone bursts with energy and color, and staff are pros at getting the shakiest superhero pose just right for your camera. Even teens and tweens, notoriously tough to impress, light up in this larger-than-life saga.

Meet the World's Greatest Pop Stars

Does your little one know every lyric from their favorite songs? Madame Tussauds brings the soundtrack to life in style. Step into the dazzling music zone, where Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, and Beyoncé are all ready for a selfie. Kids can hop on stage, hold microphones, or perfect their rock-star stance beside chart-topping legends like Harry Styles or Dua Lipa.

The sets here don’t hold back—spotlights, costumes, and colorful backdrops help shy singers break out their best dance moves. With interactive props scattered around each scene, kids feel like they’re really performing. Staff are on hand to capture your family’s funniest moments, and you might even find guest karaoke booths set up nearby. For music-loving families, this is pure fun—no backstage pass required.

Royal Encounters Fit for a Prince or Princess

No visit to London is complete without a royal wave, and at Madame Tussauds, the royal family are always ready for their close-up. The Royal Zone is where young dreamers get to imagine what it would be like to marry a prince, practice their curtsy, or even design their own (pretend) tiara.

The waxwork figures are impressive, dressed to the nines and staged in lavish settings inspired by actual palace décor. Kids can stand proudly between William and Kate or pose for a regal portrait with the late Queen Elizabeth II. The realistic sets are perfect for make-believe, and there’s extra sparkle during coronations or royal events, with themed props and interactive trivia. Watch your children invent their own royal titles and beam as they tell everyone about “meeting” the Queen herself.

Snapshots with Sporting Legends

Friends Posing with Anthony Joshua at Madame Tussauds

Sports fans of all ages get a real treat at Madame Tussauds. The Sports Zone brings a parade of champions to life—think Mo Farah mid-run, Serena Williams with her racket, and David Beckham posing for cheers. Whether your kids are future football stars, tennis lovers, or racing drivers, there’s a sporting figure to match their passion.

Strike a pose on the winner’s podium, crouch at the starting blocks, or pretend to score the winning goal—props and backdrops help everyone play out their fantasy. It’s not just photographs: interactive screens let kids test their own “reaction time” or play games inspired by their heroes. The buzz in the zone is infectious and parents will spot famous faces from their own sporting childhoods too.

Movie Magic in the Film Zone

The Film Zone is a world of silver-screen enchantment. This film-lover’s playground brings favorite movies to life with jaw-dropping waxworks and movie-set backdrops—from Star Wars to E.T., from Hollywood classics to superheroes. Kids can jump into a scene, dodge “lightsabers,” or sit on Forrest Gump’s bench for photos friends will all want to see.

Sets are built for playful interaction, and you’re encouraged to try out props, pose with aliens or aliens, and recreate your favorite one-liners. The lighting and effects flip with every scene, and staff will help find just the right angle for your family’s blockbuster moment. There’s no script, just good times and endless snap-worthy surprises.

Hop Aboard the Spirit of London Ride

Who says history can’t be fun? The Spirit of London ride turns a museum staple into a giggle-filled adventure. Pile into one of the black taxi cabs and let the ride whisk you through 400 years of the city’s stories—there are kings and queens, swinging sixties dancers, even a gentle “fire” as you pass through burning London. Animatronics, twinkling lights, and lively sound effects keep kids captivated from start to finish.

This isn’t just sightseeing; it’s a time-traveling joyride. As the cab steers through London’s history—from plague doctors to punk rockers—kids shout with delight at each new surprise. For parents, it’s an ultra-easy way to sneak in a little learning while everyone’s distracted by adventure.

The Chamber of Horrors (for Brave Older Kids!)

For families with fearless tweens and teens, the Chamber of Horrors is an electrifying detour. This section’s newly updated sets capture the dark drama of London’s criminal history, with wax figures and immersive effects that are just the right amount of spooky.

What makes it so popular for this age group? Fog, moody lighting, and a dash of special effects. The stories behind the exhibits are as fascinating as they are eerie, mixing curiosity with goosebumps. Staff help younger (or more nervous) visitors steer clear if needed, but thrill-seekers soon find themselves swapping “scary stories” as soon as they exit.

Playful A-List Party Rooms

Friends at Madame Tussauds

For kids fascinated by Hollywood glamour, Madame Tussauds Hollywood brings the red carpet experience to life with dazzling party scenes filled with movie stars, musicians, and pop culture icons. Visitors can pose beside famous faces, walk the catwalk, and step into recreated celebrity events straight out of Hollywood.

Flashing lights, oversized props, and interactive sets make every moment feel camera-ready. Whether kids are pretending to accept an Oscar or striking their best celebrity pose, the experience delivers plenty of fun—and even more selfie-worthy moments.

Photo Ops with Cartoon Favorites

One of the biggest highlights at Madame Tussauds Hollywood is seeing kids come face-to-face with their favorite animated characters. From the Minions and Shrek to familiar Disney favorites, the museum brings beloved movie icons to life in playful wax displays perfect for hugs, silly poses, and unforgettable family photos. Be sure to check which characters are featured during your visit, as exhibits often change throughout the year.

The themed sets are bright, energetic, and designed with younger visitors in mind. Interactive props, colorful backdrops, and playful details encourage kids to jump right into the fun, while parents get plenty of picture-perfect moments along the way.

Surprising Interactive Zones

Madame Tussauds Hollywood goes beyond wax figures with interactive experiences designed to pull visitors right into the action. Kids can try magic tricks, pose in fashion photo booths, create their own wax hand, or star in mini movies using green screen technology. From delivering speeches in the “World Leaders” zone to experimenting with props and games, there’s always something hands-on around the next corner.

What makes the experience stand out is how playful and immersive it feels. Instead of a typical “look but don’t touch” museum, Madame Tussauds encourages guests to interact, laugh, and join the show. The result is a fun, high-energy stop where families leave with memorable experiences—not just photos.

So, if you’re looking for an attraction in London that caters to every kind of kid—from superhero super-fans and budding pop stars to explorers with a taste for adventure—Madame Tussauds is as good as it gets. Fun, interactive, endlessly surprising and packed with wow-worthy moments, it guarantees a day out your family will be talking about for years. Snap those selfies, try out the props and see where your child’s imagination takes you—because you never know who you'll bump into next!

10 Amazing Facts About Wembley Stadium You Probably Didn't Know

Learn all about this iconic stadium, including... The famous football games hosted at Wembley The musicians who've played there How big it is What was found buried underneath Wembley Stadium? Want to know more, with a personal touch? Take a Wembley Stadium Tour. 1) Wembley Stadium London hosted the final when England last won the World Cup In case anyone needed any reminding, the last time England won the World Cup was in 1966. That was back when footballers smoked and had second jobs. You can learn more about the 1966 World Cup win and see a whole bunch of artefacts from the time during a Wembley Stadium Tour, one of the many London attractions you can visit when you purchase a London Pass. 2) There were high hopes for England to win Euro 2020  ....but, they didn't. But Wembley did host the final. Southgate’s young team are pretty exciting, and their progress at the last World Cup was as inspiring to see as it was unexpected. But, apart from the penalty shootout victory over Colombia – a game they should have been finished with long before 90 minutes was up – there was a solid victory against a very plain Sweden team, and then a semi-final loss against Croatia.  3) Wembley Stadium has hosted gigs by the world’s most famous musicians 4) This is not the first Wembley Stadium  While younger generations imagine the arch-topped stadium when they hear the name Wembley, for generations of older sports fans, it will always be the white twin towers of the original Wembley that come to mind. Built as the centrepiece of the British Empire Exhibition of 1923, the first Wembley stood exactly where the new one is.  Its complete demolition in 2003 – including the iconic, white twin towers – was highly controversial at the time.  5) But Wembley new and old are at the heart of English football  Since 1923, Wembley has been the host of the FA Cup final (apart from during the interim years whilst the new Wembley Stadium was under construction). Winners of the FA Cup final take the famous walk up to the Royal Box and presentation area to lift the trophy. The 39 steps at the old Wembley Stadium were famous as signifiers of victory or defeat. Take the Wembley Stadium Tour, included with your London Pass, and you’ll be walking up the 107 steps to the presentation area at the modern Wembley. Wembley today hosts a whole host of FA competitions and playoffs. 6) The Wembley Arch is BIG 7) Wembley is one of the largest stadiums in Europe  It’s got 90,000 seats, making it the largest stadium in the UK and second largest in Europe—only Barcelona’s Camp Nou is bigger, with a total of 99,354 seats. With a 1km circumference and a volume of 4,000,000 cubic metres, the stadium can fit 25,000 double-decker buses inside. Alternatively, you could fill the new Wembley with seven billion pints of beer. Testament to the size of the thing is just how many toilets you’ll find in the building - 2,618! See how many you can use during your trip to Wembley Stadium.  8) The first match held went down in footballing folklore  The first football match hosted at Wembley was the 1923 FA Cup Final between Bolton Wanderers and West Ham United. An estimated 300,000 spectators came in, more than double the official Wembley Stadium maximum capacity of 125,000.  Authorities didn’t think it was worth ticketing the event. The massive overstuffing of the stadium meant that the public was all across the pitch. As police attempted to move the crowd from the pitch, one officer in particular caught the attention of the crowd, riding elegantly atop a white police horse.  Since then it’s been known as the White Horse Final.  9) The atmosphere of the new Wembley has been scientifically engineered  Crowd recordings taken at the old Wembley—famous for the Wembley Roar—during the 1999 FA Cup final and a 2000 England v Poland game were used as audio benchmarks. The design team used sophisticated computer models to recreate the same acoustics in the new Wembley.  Also, with the arch supporting the roof, there was no need to stick pillars, so there were no restricted views. And the architects tried to tier the stands in such a way that everyone felt close to the action.  10) A bad Eiffel Tower knockoff was found underneath it  Well, the concrete foundations were. During excavations, construction workers preparing for the new playing field found the foundation of what was known as Watkin’s Tower. Designed to surpass the Eiffel Tower in height and completely rip it off in style, the tower was never completed due to financial difficulties and safety issues. It would have stood right where the Wembley pitch is today.
