Current exhibition: Royal Portraits: A Century of Photography (17th May to 6th October)

Travel through the lens of history with the current in this immersive showcase charting the evolution of royal portrait photography from the 1920s to the present day. Step into a world where photographic prints, proofs, and documents from the Royal Collection and the Royal Archives come together to illuminate the intimate connections between royal sitters and celebrated photographers.

With over 150 works on display, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the masterpieces of renowned photographers such as Cecil Beaton, Dorothy Wilding, Annie Leibovitz, and Rankin. From iconic formal portraits to candid snapshots, each image offers a glimpse into the lives and personalities of members of the Royal Family throughout the decades.
