Overview

You don’t need to be a Spurs supporter to appreciate a tour of Tottenham Hotspur’s impressive, award‑winning stadium – complete with its fully retractable pitch.

Designed with cutting‑edge technology throughout, the stadium offers a behind‑the‑scenes look at how players experience match day. Step into the first team’s changing room, walk through the players’ tunnel and out onto the pitch, and even take a seat in the manager’s chair!

It's a self-guided tour so you can take your time to explore, with multimedia guides offering stories and interviews from well‑known players. Staff around the stadium are also on hand to answer questions about everything from the retractable surface to the NFL partnership and much more.

If you're a football fan looking for more than a standard match‑day visit, a tour of Tottenham Hotspur Stadium offers a closer look at one of London’s most modern sporting venues and a chance to explore it at your own pace.

: What is a stadium tour?
A stadium tour is a behind-the-scenes visit to a sports venue that lets you explore areas normally off-limits to the public — think players' tunnels, changing rooms, and pitch-side views — usually with an audio guide or host to bring the history and matchday stories to life.
Can you tour the Spurs stadium?
Yes, absolutely. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium runs regular self-guided tours (using a multimedia device) most days, giving fans a proper look behind the curtain at one of the most modern stadiums in the world.
Just note tours don't run on match or event days, so it's worth checking the calendar before you plan your visit.
What does a Tottenham Stadium tour include?
You'll get access to the First Team changing rooms, the players' tunnel, the pitch-side dugouts, and the NFL locker room (Spurs' stadium is the first in the UK built to host NFL games). A multimedia guide device is included throughout, sharing stories and stats from Spurs legends past and present, and the tour usually wraps up around the Media Café. All in, it takes roughly 90 minutes.
What is the best stadium tour in London?
Honestly, it depends what you're into!
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium's tour is great if you love cutting-edge design and want to see NFL-ready facilities alongside the football setup. Emirates Stadium (Arsenal) is a good pick if you're after a classic behind-the-scenes trophy-room experience. If rugby's more your thing, Twickenham's tour covers the home of English rugby.
Worth picking based on which club or sport you're most excited about.
How difficult is it to get Tottenham tickets?
Match tickets can be tricky to come by, especially for bigger fixtures — Spurs operate a membership and priority-booking system, so non-members often find general sale tickets sell out fast. Your best bet is joining as a member for priority access, checking the official site regularly, or looking at hospitality packages if you want a more guaranteed route in.
If you just want to see the stadium rather than watch a match, a stadium tour is by far the easiest way in — tours run most days, don't need a membership, and let you explore the pitch, changing rooms, and tunnel at your own pace.
Is there a free shuttle bus to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium?
Yes, but only on matchdays.
For matchdays and major events the club runs free shuttle bus services (which must be pre-booked) from Alexandra Palace and Wood Green stations.
Outside of matchdays, it's easiest to just hop on the Overground to White Hart Lane, which is only about a 5-minute walk from the stadium.

A must for all football fans.

Tottenham Hotspur stadium tour was brilliant. Despite the Go City saying you didn’t need to book (and had no way of actually booking a tour) when we arrived we had difficulty in gaining access to the tour but eventually everything was sorted. The tour guide was so knowledgeable and the technology behind the scenes of how the stadium functions was truly fascinating. A must for all football fans.

Loved having our own headsets which meant we could go at our own pace and replay the clip as many times as we pleased . The staff were very welcoming. I was very impressed with the knowledge that the staff were sharing with us about the pitch and the stadium in general.
