The Championships, Wimbledon

(29 June – 12 July 2026)

Whether you’ve got tickets or you’re braving the famous queue, Wimbledon is a full-on London summer experience. No luck getting in? Many parks and garden squares set up big screens – so you can still soak up the strawberries-and-cream atmosphere without the early start.

Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre

(Throughout June)

By June, the open-air theatre season is in full swing, and watching a show under a dusky sky feels like a proper London summer ritual – just don’t forget a light jacket for when the sun dips.

For June 2026 you can catch either, A Life in Four Seasons (11 – 14 June 2026) or A Midsummer Night’s Dream (20 June – 18 July 2026) – tickets available on the Open Air Theatre website.

Leadenhall Market pop-ups

(June dates vary)

This already-stunning market leans fully into summer with  weekend pop-ups and extra buzz – ideal for a quirky mooch and a quick “is this Diagon Alley?” moment.

28 June: The Vintage Furniture & Flea Market

Trooping the Colour

(13 June 2026)

All the pageantry you could hope for – guards, horses, and plenty of precision marching. It’s one of those “only in London” spectacles, especially if you catch a glimpse along The Mall.
