用于拉动皇家马车的灰马之所以被称为温莎灰马，是因为它们在维多利亚女王统治时期被饲养在温莎。
克利夫兰栗色马是另一种用来拉马车的马，是英国最古老的马匹品种之一。
皇家马厩最初位于查林克罗斯，也就是今天国家美术馆的所在地。
维多利亚女王充分利用了皇家马厩的空间。她曾一度在那里饲养了多达200匹马，还为员工的孩子们建立了一所学校。
黄金国家马车的重量将近四吨，需要八匹马才能拉动。它的移动速度从未超过步行速度。

B. Swan ·Only 2 Horses on site when we went. They were in stalls that you could barely see. If you are wanting to the Horses, it's not worth the money, it's more to see the 6-7 Royal coaches.
best part of our trip
amber ·please dont go just to see the horses. the best part is waiting for you at the very end. The stables and the coronation carriage. Audio guide is very informative. employees are all kind and helpful. one of the highlights in London.
I thought i was going to the castle
